This midcentury bungalow was transcended to modern design combined with cool Scandinavian flair. At the core of its design is a neutral color palette, crisp design, warm décor additions and plenty of natural light – features that make it so very distinctly Scandinavian. The living space pictures a white backdrop, with bluish-gray sectional that can be easily moved around depending on the space requirements. This modern minimalism embraces urban classiness underlining an immaculate standalone bar/pantry. The bar designed to integrate modern amenities such as the fridge, microwave that are bedecked in alpine mist Caesarstone worktop. The opaque living walls were replaced with retractable sliding glass doors. The Nordic bedrooms were born out of demand for simplicity, efficiency, and a sense of cheerful elegance, it showcases a clean-lined, minimalistic setting that also embraces a hint of color, geometric wallpaper and textural beauty. The use of limited, curated decor with sleek chaise lounge in ivory leather, straight vertical lines of the aluminum profile facilitates in creating a tidy walk in wardrobe that seems both inviting and cordial.

Pristine white laminated shutters of the living room against the smoky grey Pergo wood composite floors, edged with graphite coated aluminum sliding doors that bring in sensational light into the once dreary dull setting. The kitchen is combined with translucent shelving & ample storage space to create a captivating and relaxing family room. The sliding glass doors gives the effect of ‘breaking fourth’ into a petite semi enclosed oasis designed for simple outdoor pleasures. Shaded to perfection with a modern sleek double laminated skylight, this retreat induces a breezy yet private trendy appeal owing to the intricate slat-work operable trellis modules. Hints of local eccentricities such as clay fired wire-cut brick walls were originated to add a rustic charm to this unexpected cozy sit-out.  An ironing board discreetly hidden in a wall mount that you can pull and touch up a few wrinkles will help in completing all the essentials to a live-in luxury closet. Quality precedes quantity here, and frugality is interlaced with sophistication and minimalism!

The interiors were enhanced with the use of environmentally friendly material and low VOC finishes. The opaque walls and ceiling were transformed using sliding glass doors and skylights that invited in the warm sunlight. Composite wood flooring, clay fired brick walls and trellis modules added a sense of connection to the nature in this residence. With elements of natural charm and smart ventilation strategies, the design transformed this once dull and dreary den to a Scandinavian styled contemporary inspiration!
