‘Riding high on a wave of success, architect Suraksha Bhatla was recently placed second at the eVolo Skyscraper Competition. Her award-winning design is called “Shanty-Scraper,” and aspires to prov ide a unique solution for the fishermen located near Marina beach, Chennai. What led her to become an innovative architect and then to enter the competition, was her passion for sustainable architecture, her desire for giv ing back to society, and changing people’s lives.
