This 30-year-old home was converted to a Net Zero Energy home relying on solar panels for its electricity production. This cozy residence was refurbished and designed by switching to more sustainable features and practices. The intention of the project was to revamp the house while also converting it to a fully sustainable structure.
As with all refurbishment projects, Vishvam was not without its challenges. The project came with its own set of restrictions and requirements. These challenges were meticulously met through creative solutions and expert technical knowledge.
The sloped roof gives opportunity for views and ventilation to be captured inside the house and provide stepped balconies at different levels of the structure. The skylight on the roof disperses sunlight inside the structure and provides optimum daylight inside the house. This renovated home provides comfort balance to its occupants.
